Here's the problem with the Big 12's round robin approach
They have four teams ranked 74th or lower on F/+ rankings on footballoutsiders. 1 that is 52nd.
All their top teams played all 5 of those teams.
On the other hand, the SEC had one team at 59 and 3 other teams ranked 79th or lower.
Alabama didn't play any of them - not one.
The Big Ten has 3 teams rated in the 60s and 3 teams rated 80th or lower.
The PAC-12 has 1 team at 57th and 3 teams at 82nd or lower.
You get the idea.
