He's earning every penny as the tank commander for the Lakers. In all seriousness, he just needs to hang it up after this season. HIs legacy is getting tarnished by how much his game has deteriorated and how bad his team is. The other factor is he's only played in 52 games out of the last 173. The Lakers shouldn't have given him that contract extension.
