proves that they don't need 13th game. If ND looses out it means that the committee has some weird trust in a so call conference champion- though I still think B12 doesn't have that. It also means that ND either needs to join ACC or needs to find a 13th game. Either way I'm not sure having OK or ND getting into the CPF is good for BYU when it comes to expansion.
