Not really. If a kid as a cold and a fever of 103, who cares?
Give them some Tylenol and watch it go away.
Now if they have a fever and they are lethargic, unconscious, seizing, or post cardiac arrest, then that's a cause for concern. But then in that case it's not the fever you're concerned about.
