Left the cold and snow of Utah behind and traveled to Phoenix Tuesday night/Wednesday morning to have Thanksgiving dinner with my daughter and her family. Traffic to Las Vegas was pretty heavy, but Vegas to Phoenix was good.
Dinner was great! My MIL raised a great cook and she has passed that skill on to our daughters.
Right now it is sunny and warm and we are headed out for a walk with my grandkids around the neighborhood. There are few places as nice as Phoenix in November.
Homemade pies to follow the walk.
Golf and the zoo tomorrow.
I am so thankful to have the blessings of living in this country, of friends and family, and the opportunities afforded all of us.
