Went to a neighbors house with some other families.
My brisket was exquisite. One family's 23yo daughter thanked me for the "yummy meat."
Good turkey, good stuffing, great pea salad. Love a pea salad. This one had shrimp in it. Green bean casserole had too much pepper but it wasn't bad.
Here's my only complaint that's not a complaint. My wife makes a sweet potato chocolate cheese cake every thanksgiving that is awesome. My complaint is that no one from the other families even tried it. They would rather go with what they're familiar with in a lemon meringue pie that isn't even meringue, but rather a white soupy mess. Whatever, so it's not really a complaint because I took home over half that cheesecake.
The neighbors were nice and I did appreciate the invite.
