Vallarta is green and lush

I like it but much prefer the beaches of cancun. Snorkeling is better in Cabo, if you can stand the ugly barren landscape.

From what I remember snorkeling sucks and waves aren't really big enough to surf/bodyboard

Snorkeling is awesome if you go out to the Murrieta islands. Super fun and beautiful out there.
