I don't think so. For all the talk last year about a Championship game, if it
were Oklahoma and Texas last year instead of TCU and Baylor, one of them would have made it in. The bigger name ALWAYS ends up in the better spot in college football.

Oklahoma is a bigger name than Michigan State.

The only reason Oklahoma wouldn't leapfrog an undefeated Iowa is because that would be setting a REALLY bad precedent on part of the committee. If non-royalty programs see that they're even willing to discriminate against undefeated Champions actually IN P5s, the whole system falls apart. How many mid-grade P5 programs, like Iowa, are going to keep their mouths shut if they're essentially told they can win 'em all and STILL not get a shot because a name program happened only to lose one?
