The other problem for the B-12 is the 9-game conference schedule. The PAC-12 has the same problem.

If we go two years of playoffs and end up with 3 conference exclusions (assuming ND takes a spot this year) -- and all those exclusions are from the two conferences playing 9 conference games and knocking each other out.... I think the expansion talk is louder so they can drop to 8 games.

I think more than half the B-12 would like 4 cupcakes and 8 conference games anyway.

However, I agree this is all irrelevant to BYU. The B-12 ship sailed when WV was included. They are going east.
