My 3 year-old has been complaining of leg pain on and off for
the past few weeks. Today was very different. He fell asleep during the BYU football game and woke up saying he could not walk and that his leg hurt. I thought he just slept on it weird. When we were getting ready to go to the bball game he continued limping and complaining that his leg hurt. When we got to the Marriott center I had to carry him there and he sat in his seat for pretty much the entire game. This is rare because he is usually bounding up and down the benches nonstop. We took a few bathroom breaks and he tried to walk limping the whole time and his leg gave out a few times while walking.
He only has this pain in the one leg and he is pointing to his knee mostly for now but it was been in his foot before. Does anybody have any idea what this could be? I was thinking growing pains but wouldn't that be in both legs? Definitely more concerned because its lasting for hours and not going away.
