College football is rigged for the big boys. Yes, once in a decade or two a no name will appear and make an incredible run, but thats it.
After 1984 the big boys created the bowl alliance and then the BCS and now limit the playoffs to 4 teams.
They keep all the money so their schools can build better facilities and hire better coaches etc.
Unless BYU gets in a P5 it won't happen. We 'll we fade into obscurity? I don't think so but will BYU be a top 10 team year in and year out. I dont think so.
8-5 is not mediocrity, but yes, I want better. 9-3 is the step there but beware of next year. It is a daunting schedule for sure and chances are we could have a losing record but I 'll enjoy the season. So flame away you negative nellies, you snarky snobs, Broncos haters at least I enjoy football season, you just wallow in your misery.
