I am not a bronco supporter I don't think he should be fired I don't think 9-3 is a failure but based on bronco's own standard it is not likely to be a successful season and he has not had one according to his standard since 2011.

I think bronco is an average coach for a number of reasons and I think he doesn't handle criticism inherent to his job well at all.

I think many detractors have an issue with Broncos overt religious statements because they are cynical about his motives and because he has used them to try and silence criticism from program donors. I will give him the benefit of doubt on his motives.

Bronco settled into a bad place with regard to recruiting and the nfl after his early success. He made some statements that even if true were no doubt used against him in recruiting. I do think that has changed(though he brought it up again in KC) but I fear it may be too little too late.

I personally was really turned off of bronco when he practiced 6 times for a bowl he had a month to prep for and got destroyed by an interim coaching staff

Ultimately I think the program is stagnant and I don't think bronco is the right guy to change that but he has earned the right to fail at it.
