It is unlikely that pay is a major factor in the pool of "qualified" candidates.
If they don't see the job as a calling, they won't survive anyway. Money probably matters more in regards to assistant coaches who make much less.) The special requirements of the HC job seriously limit the applicant pool. When CB posters can't understand the basics of the job, it makes me wonder if they are just utefans trying to stir contention in the program.
