Those other 8 wins are completely meaningless. Face it games against G5 teams really don't mean anything except that you can beat a team full of players who could not make a P5 roster. We went 1-3 against teams who played legitimate 9-10 game schedules. Winning the occasional game against a P5 team does not mean that you are on par with them. G5 teams do not have the talent or the depth to endure a season schedule against P5 teams. If BYU played any P5 team in the nations schedule they would be sub .500
Next years schedule is our best yet but it has games against 7 Non P5 teams. That is half a schedule. We will be sub .500 against the big boys and we will beat most of the psuedo teams. Fans will call for Bronco's head, but he does well with the mostly G5 talent he has.
