If it is just a general "which team was best this season," it is meaningless. . . and would go to Utah. If it is based on performances against in-state opponents, it should go to BYU.

My guess is that it goes to a media vote...so anybody but BYU.

They take head to head record, but in a tie, its gone to media vote in the past.

It is head to head between BYU, USU, and UU. I don't know if there are any media guidelines
