RE: This coaching issue is tearing the board apart
Here's the deal, it really has very little to do with the coaching issue and more about what permeates just about everything else online from politics to religion to the best fast food burgers - the need to be "right". More than that, the need to be "right" and the overwhelming need let the other guys know they're "wrong" and try to force them to admit that they are "wrong". Once a person's mind is made up, that's it. There is no convincing them otherwise, but they are going to do all they can to get those other guys to admit how wrong they are.

That need is what compels some to use a magnifying glass to post about even the smallest of faults and others to use examples from elsewhere that aren't even connected with the issue at hand to make bombastic, sarcastic posts trying to somehow tie the two together.

It is becoming less & less about the issue and more & more about sticking it to those other guys, who are "wrong", at every opportunity. If things don't change, those same magnifying glass posts are going to happen. If change does happen, it will be broadcast repeatedly on here if some similar mistakes are happening - not in an effort to stick it to the new guy but to stick it to the "wrong" guys.

I'm just as guilty of it as anyone. Some of us disagree. None of us are going to change our minds, it's a fools errand. I'll do my best to keep my critiques FO from this point forward, but there's no guarantee there won't be some leakage over to the main board from time to time.

Bloviate away...
