I'm not to the point of apathy yet but it's getting harder. I agree that the university doesn't really care about winning as much as many in the fan base. 9-3 and losing the only three difficult games on the schedule seems to be perfectly fine for BYU's administration. Bronco will get lots of pats on the back and it doesn't seem to matter to him if he loses a bowl game to a 6-6 Pac12 team.

Independence stinks. It's definitely the best option right now but it sucks and I can't see it being a long term solution.

The trouble is, a G5 conference stinks worse and the B12 is not expanding any time soon - even if they do I really doubt they'll go west.

It's a bleak landscape for BYU, if you look long term.
