The one year that I took a flight just for points/miles, it was totally worth it.
The following year I flew more than any other year and the extra perks were worth it all year long. $130 seems like a no brainer if you travel a lot. (I'm not familiar with the perks, but I would think if you fly more than 13 times, you'd be getting the benefits for less than $10/trip)
