Makes sense. They don't want to alienate the B12. Three one-loss
teams is a pretty notable accomplishment, lamentably, to our demise.
Though, we had a chance to signal the B12 we are worthy of consideration had we gone 12-0 or 11-1.
If we had gone an average of 10-2 over the past three years and 11-1 this year, you'd think they'd see us not as a drag on dividing the spoils from the TV contract, but, rather, adding to the collective pot by being a good national draw that drives viewership nationwide and viewership in our market.
