The best case scenario was for the Big12 to get shut out of a playoff spot. I don't see anyone jumping OU.

Could the silver lining be that the other conferences are upset after realizing that the Big12 got in the playoff without a CCG and only playing 12 games?

I could see the conferences petitioning the NCAA to force the Big12 to expand to 12 and hold a championship game.
