Say that Clemson and Alabama lose. Both those teams move up, as well as the winner of Mich State and Iowa. Does that mean that Ohio State also moves up and is included in the playoff without even winning their division? Do NC and Stanford move up enough to make it in? This is seriously bothering me.
Imagine that Clemson, Alabama, Stanford, and Mich State all lose this week. Then we have a playoff with Oklahoma, Iowa, Ohio State and another team. OSU getting in while MSU is out even though they won the division and won head to head would make me poop my pants. I just don't think that "the eye test" cuts it for me.
