I've been following the Big12 saga since it began. Like many of you, I have followed the same articles, interviews and twitter convos. Logically I've come to a few conclusions about the B12: it is a circus (one I still wish BYU to be a part of) another constant is my disdain for Bobby Bowlsby -- he is the worst -- his choice of vocab makes him even more obnoxious. My Cougarboard opinion that matters not, is that Uconn and Cincy will be invited first. I've read some compelling thoughts where this just makes the most sense via TV sets, all sports and no perceived limitations.
I think BYU's biggest hurdle is not having a travel partner. I'm really excited about next year's schedule, coaching staff, players and feel Tom Holmoe is really doing everything possible. It's hard to feel optimistic about being included in a non-inclusive P5 environment for the foreseeable future.
