Part of the contract with a server that makes paying his wage via tips acceptable is that he treats me with a modicum of

respect. I would never ever do that to a Utah fan. I might even ask how he feels about the season, how the thought national signing day went, etc. I might even dare tell him I am a BYU fan, but I would never say anything negative. Especially not if my compensation depends on it.

It's never okay to be a confrontational jerk, so I don't see how this is friendly banter.
