They also hired Bevilacqua Helfant Ventures to study value
of expansion and a conference network. The interesting part of is that Bevilacqua Helfant Ventures was founded by and is half owned by Chris Bevilacqua. In case you don't know who this was the guy was, he was the one who started CSTV (College Sports TV) in the early 2000s which is now owned by CBS and known as CBS Sports Network. CSTV was the one who inked the deal to break the MWC away from ESPN in 2004. The mtn network was also Bevilacqua's brain child and he has always been complimentary of BYU. Some of his first major college sports broadcasts involved BYU. He got out of CSTV and the mtn back in 2006 just as the mtn lauched to take another position with another corporation so he missed the entire distribution debacle that ensued.

Does that mean anything? Probably not....but interesting.
