Coke is one of my staples in long distance cycling races
Easy to get down, highly caloric, with easy-to-metabolize sugars. Your body can only do so many gu-blocks, gels, bottles of Ensure and rice cakes. Coke is surprisingly helpful as a form of quick calories on long-distance events.
