Dave Rose is a great guy and has done much for BYU but the lack of defense is his Achilles heel. A close second is his inability to recruit quick point guards who can dribble and penetrate.

It won't matter who is on the floor next year if the scheme is the same. We will continue to give up Layups and wide open threes to teams that shouldn't be within 20 pts of is, especially at home.

My personal peeve is seeing our bigs double team guards way outside the tree point line leaving the middle wide open. When everyone collapse to fill the void we leave guys wide open for easy threes.

Coach Rose is fast becoming the next Paul Westead of the WCC and we all know how that ended.

Just like football, defense wins championships.
