close calls seem to always be called in the negative, which then requires indisputable evidence in the affirmative in order to be overturned. They should be calling things the way they've always been called -- however they would've called things before replay was introduced.

That plus the overwhelming presence of the officials in every game. And the huge increase in the number of rules. etc.
