But if Taysom chooses to go to UVA... wish him all the best and we will be fine, and probably better than fine. Again, our QB situation since 2009 has been an incredible mess and can be pointed to being the biggest problem with the program. The Heaps/Nelson fiasco was embarrassing and a total disaster, then Taysom being told to run the ball with 10 seconds remaining and we are winning the game, and the game is essentially over with and he has a season ending injury in that 1 play... then Taysom actually completes a season without an injury, in which it was the biggest rollar coaster mess of a season in which Anae was pulling plays from Madden.

Then Taysom has 2 back to back seasons with just freak injuries....

But now we have a QB that isn't the super high risk that Taysom is... he plays the game a lot like Max Hall did... but with a much more accurate and stronger arm, and did it with absolutely ZERO offseason conditioning or working with the WR's... the guy got home from his Mission and went out and embarrassed secondaries. He committed freshman mistakes, but he made plays that you'd expect a seasoned Senior to make. I think Tanner's ceiling is sky high at the moment... Taysom i believe has reached his ceiling... and while Taysom is an athletic freak of nature that is your 1 in a million type of QB... his high risk in my opinion isn't worth taking anymore after having 6 years of QB high risk taking absolutely blowing up in our faces.

I welcome 3 years of stability at QB over having 1 more season of high risk gambling. It would/will suck to lose Taysom to UVA... I think he would be great at BYU too... I just don't think it's the end of the world if we lose him, in fact quite the opposite.
