He's better RIGHT NOW than Tanner is. Who's better as a senior is still up for debate.

If Taysom comes back, it's his job, and he'll win us more games than Tanner would have THIS YEAR.

Tanner can sit out a year and still start for two whole more years as a junior and a senior. He has a few things to work on, so watching from the sideline and practicing those things for a year could help him. Junior Tanner could/would be scary good.
