I guess my question would be if you really need a house that size?
I am not sure where you live and current home rates, but in Utah that is a decent sized house. If you are younger and have a small family why not get something a bit smaller/less expensive that you can live in for the next 5-10 years before you want to make the jump to a bigger home.
