1. On perimeter defense the players almost always jump to block every shot. I'ts so easy to fake a shot and go around the defender when they are always trying to block a shot. They need to fake a block more often as there will be no foul, it probably will affect the shooters concentration, and it allows you to keep your defensive position. This is an easy coaching fix but has been a constant problem.
2. I know Kyle is a great player and has tons of assists but he really sucks at point guard. Gets in trouble way too often. Makes lots of plays but makes lots of mistakes. He won't make it in the NBA as a point guard. Way too slow and is not a great dribbler. His strength is playing around the basket, kicking the ball out to shooters and getting rebounds. I blame Rose as he lets Kyle do what he wants. Problem is I don't know if we have a good point guard on the team. Maybe Emery.
3. Stop recruiting slow players that do well in HS but struggle in College.
4. Get a good quick point guard. Seems like every team we play as a better point guard than we do. Makes a huge difference.
