Honestly, I don't listen to the post game crap. I just enjoy watching the game.

But I can believe Manning if he says that a loss is NOT due to a lack of preparation or effort. Would be nice to know if he believes the "protection issues" were due to a lack of effort or preparation? Or if the other team's players were just better and/or his OL had some whiffs that they wish they had back.

And looking back, I don't remember the game. But in saying there are some passes he wishes he had back, isn't that kind of acknowledging that he wasn't perfect? That he made some bad throws?

Sounds like the writer has an ax to grind, to me.
