In addition to this I set up a spread sheet with all my debts and their interest
rates. Then prioritize which debts you should pay first. I did not choose to always pay off the highest interest rates first. At times I would pay off a lower rate and balance to get rid of the payment, and apply more to other debts. It helped me pay off my debts completely.
