1st be prepared to walk if your price isn't met

My last car I bought, I researched and went in with a limit in mind. The seller didn't like my price so I told her thanks. A week later she called back and asked if I still wanted the car at my price. No car is worth more than your research says you should pay if you are honest with yourself.
