Referring to the post "next level" citing the winning percentages of Lavelle, Gary & Bronco it is pretty easy to see that their is a performance ceiling and we are peaking with what we have. Change in thinking and doing will need to take place for that to change

I loved Bronco and i'm more cautiously objective about the new staff than most but what I see that ties the last 30 years together is consistent mediocre talent that is coached up due to good mature kids. One thing the new staff has going for it is the commitment to change the one thing that has seemed to remain constant...recruiting. Without a top 25 class for a period of multiple years I don't think we'll really ever get through that performance ceiling that was referenced.

With Bball it can be done with 1 superstar ie Jimmer & a better than avg supporting cast. Football you need 5-7 superstars at the same time to = bball ability to have a special year
