First, we give lavell credit for using ingenuity to make up for lack of talent (rightly so). His winning percentage was 68%. Meanwhile Bronco was able to hit that mark without the previously mentioned ingenuity. So Bronco had the talent level but not the ingenuity? Which leads me to:
Second, there are many variables that can effect a stat so broad as winning percentage. It boils down to at least three major components: coaching ability, recruiting, and schedule. Each of these have a massive subset of contributing factors, but overall these are the big contributors.
All that needs to happen is an increase/decrease in one area. But for there to be a ceiling these factors must be either inversely proportional or maxed out. I don't think our coaching ability is maxed out. Bronco wasnt the highest of the high that we can attract. I don't think our recruiting is maxed out, in fact I think our recruiting is going to improve drastically. Scheduling is obviously fluid since we are independent and scheduling is (at least somewhat) inversely proportional to both of the other factors.
