Met my wife, dated and got married in Med school.
I couldn't believe we had class from 8-12 and then we were done for the day (at least during the 1st 2 years when we didn't have lab). Of course you had to study, but that didn't take 8 hours a day.
For me, undergrad schedule went like this:
6 am - wake up
630 - door open and room clean for morning inspection
7 - March to breakfast
8-3 - class, average semester was about 20.5 hours, mostly engineering classes despite my biology major
330-5 - mandatory intramural or club team practice
5-530 - shower up
530-7 - dinner
7-730 - mandatory military training
730-10 - study for those 20+ hours of classes
10 - lights out
That was life at USAFA. This is the honest truth - I thought Med school was a piece of cake and I had more fun and social life than I ever imagined.
