when i really start to "crave" fall and miss being able to turn the games on on saturdays (and thurs and fridays). i miss the family/friend gatherings, i miss the blue, i miss the eternal fountain of hope and the crushing blow to the gut of defeat.

for the last few weeks you can still kind of bask in the light of a season still in recent memory. in a few days or weeks it will hit me that we have a LONG freaking way to go until opening weekend of college football. and that is a sad thing.
