1. Take the 'subway' (goes above ground for the most part) around the entire island. Great 'price performer' tour.
2. Zoo at night (nocturnal tour).
3. Eat at the indoor hawker stands (indoors) and next to the street that is closed off for the satay vendors.
4. Walk around the famous Raffles Hotel.
5. National Botanical Gardens Park.
6. National Park that has the monkey running around.
7. Eat at a restaurant that has cuisine from a nearby country (Malaysian, Indonesian, Thai)
8. Walk the streets near the water area (lion).
9. Find a tour guide that takes you around or provides a walking tour of the 'old town' area.
10. Go running up and down several streets away from your hotel.
