Been a mild year for inversions. Almost had none in January, which is amazing.
But this current inversion is setting up to be horrible in terms of numbers. We are in our third straight "Red" day which means, air is unhealthy and will cause damage at some level. There is no end in sight. The weather guys are saying maybe the end of next week there might be a storm big enough to blow it out. That's another 7-10 days of RED air. You should not have moved back if this is not your thing.
Summer's are bad too. Nobody talks about it much, but we get ozone trapped during high pressure days. And if fires get going in the western states, they get trapped too.
