The guy was all-everything, projected to be drafted quite high in the MLB draft (until he told everyone he was going to BYU regardless of where drafted), and is a non-member. Dean is perhaps the most high profile player in the program since Jacob Hannemann played one year and was drafted by the Cubs in the 3rd round and Jaycob Brugman came to BYU. Brugman also was all-everything out of high school and experts were shocked when Brugman decided on BYU. I think Brugman is playing AA ball for the A's now.
