(back when they had the old houses). One of the guys had a couple of tomato plants off the side of the front porch and then neglected to harvest anything. So one night when we were all bored, one by one, we started taking tomatoes and throwing them as straight as we could into the night sky. There were a couple of lights on posts next to the porch so even if you looked up, there would have been no way to see any incoming tomatoes. Throw a tomato up. Everybody freeze in place. See if gravity chose any victims. We had a few really close calls, but sadly, no one got hit.
