You can say that about inclusion of BYU in ANY conference yet....
BYU has ALWAYS been in a conference with these exact same issues with the exception of the past few years.

Sunday play was never a problem for the WAC, MWC and WCC but suddenly it's a huge problem for the Big12?

BYU was the big fish in the little pond in the WAC and MWC. WCC was hppy to oblige to get BYU in the conference.
