I don't see it that way. I see it as something the MWC and WAC were willing to
accomodate because the benefit BYU brought their conference was worth all the hassle. Not sure it is the same for the B12 when they have a bunch of other schools trying to get in.

Sunday play was never a problem for the WAC, MWC and WCC but suddenly it's a huge problem for the Big12?

BYU was the big fish in the little pond in the WAC and MWC. WCC was hppy to oblige to get BYU in the conference.
