I see on facebook an opinion that Hill should be a "Utility" athlete, that if he wants to be a receiver or RB let him stay, otherwise let him go. Tanner is fun to watch but I would have taken a healthy Taysom every game last year and so would have the coaches.

I would be shocked if Taysom decided to stay and did not win the starting position. I don't buy the argument that its better for the program to have Tanner start so as to not disrupt his development and chemistry. Certain fans are tainted after watching the Nelson/Heaps train wreck. I like to think of this more like a John Beck to Max Hall situation, not that the playing styles are anything similar, but that ideally Taysom should start and Tanner gets to run scout team and get even get reps in live games. Then Tanner comes back in and plays a Jr and Sr season.
