HCBW and I are thinking about an Alaskan cruise for our anniversary and were wondering if CB had any wisdom on the topic. I have searched a bit and have never been on a cruise or to Alaska. How long and what are good cruise lines, good experiences etc? Would you book online or through another place? Do dates matter that much in the summer(we are thinking late july)?

Any other ideas for a week long anniversary trip? We are dropping off the kids in Utah so out west would be preferred. Thanks in advance.
