No, for someone who doesn't know anything about BYU the ratings seem about right. If all the author knows about BYU is
the win loss record his rating of BM makes sense and he can also be forgiven for thinking KN was BYU's first choice. I was a supporter of KN assuming he wouldn't try to run the TO at BYU. That didn't work.
I think it's fair to say now that Holmoe was never going to hire anyone that wanted to run the TO and KN was never going to give that up. It was Kalani all the way after a polite interview for KN. What percentage of BYU fans would trade KS for BM back today? I'd say less than 30% and one of those coaches has almost 100 college wins as a HC and the other has zero.
