car dealerships close on Sunday OR Saturday. Riiiight. It was just enacted to get people any old day off. Uh-huh.
Larry wanted to be a good boy and have his dealerships closed on Sundays without allowing other dealers a competitive edge. But instead of just saying so (or closing his and living with the lost business) he and the supporters acted like it was a just a way to get everyone a day off. Either Sat or Sunday. I really dislike this kind of non-sense and it just shows once again that less government is better. Almost everyone wants laws that promote their interests over the interests of others instead of just letting people live their lives and enjoy or suffer with the consequences of their own actions. Businesses do this all the time. Even those owned by "conservatives."
