Except when your yewting cats bring them alive in the house and drop them.
I've killed 3 in my house in the last couple years. All brought in by my cats.
Of course they also cause problems in my yard. I haven't found a single thing that keeps them away. I have a field behind my lot and there is just no way to eradicate them from both my yard and the field.
