I have a company smartphone (Blackberry) that I use for virtual meetings from home. I have a headset at home I like. Now I have to get rid of my deskphone at work and just use my smartphone for all calls/meetings/etc both at work and away. I need to get a new headset to use at work. Here are my requirements:
- I want it wired (so I don't have to constantly be recharging it)
- 3.5mm connection
- USB connection ability - when needed using Microsoft Lync
- Over the head
- One earpiece
- Physical mute button (I want to ensure that I am muted - and not make a mistake of thinking I'm muted when I'm not). As I've been looking for something it's amazing how few devices have this functionality now.
- Physical volume control

I currently have a Plantronics (not sure what model type)
